What We Believe

Who we are:

We are a non-denominational, independent Christian Church. We are affiliated with the Restoration Movement and the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ.

Our Vision:

We want to saturate the next generation with the Gospel of Christ Jesus

We do this by:

  1. Loving Kids
  2. Empowering Parents
  3. Welcoming People Home

Our Beliefs:

We Believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

This was confirmed by each of our members at adult baptism or upon transfer of their membership.

We believe that Jesus died on the cross, atoning for our sins, and rose again three days later conquering death.

We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New testament are God’s Word, written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit.

We believe it is living and active and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training for our Christian walk.

We believe the Bible reveals to us the Gospel.

This Gospel begins with God creating the world perfectly.  Then our sin corrupting the world and alienating us from God, from ourselves, from creation, and from each other. Then Jesus became flesh, made his dwelling among us as God incarnate. He died for our sin and conquered death and allowed the world to go back to the way it was originally created to be. The Church is a picture of this world, and is working to reconcile man back to God, back to himself, back to creation, and back to each other. One day, Jesus will return and restore the world completely, but until then, we work earnestly for His coming.

We believe the Church is the bride of Christ, and a picture (albeit an imperfect one sometimes) of heaven on earth.

The Church is the Kingdom of God and this Kingdom is on a mission to take ground and make this world look more like heaven, one yard, one life, one household at a time.
